RO Protection At Formosa Plastic Group, Taiwan

Formosa Plastics Group, a prominent plastic industry company in Taiwan, recently faced a significant challenge in dealing with biofouling on their reverse osmosis (RO) membranes used for treating cooling tower water. Studies revealed that a staggering 80% of membrane failures were attributed to biofouling, causing significant disruptions and inefficiencies in the company's wastewater treatment plant.
