Praxair To Deliver Technical Presentation During WEFTEC

Praxair, Inc. announced recently that the company will be delivering a technical presentation and exhibiting in booth 651 at the 90th Annual Water Environment Federation Technical Exhibition and Conference, WEFTEC 2017. The conference is being held at McCormick Place in Chicago, IL from September 30 through October 4. The exhibition portion will be open Monday through Wednesday from 8:30 AM until 5:00 PM.

Dr. Randall Marx of Praxair's Global Market Development team will present a technical paper titled, “Operating Cost Reduction with Struvite Control in Digester Components Using Carbon Dioxide Instead of Ferric Chloride,” during Session 405 on Tuesday, October 3 at 4:00 PM in Room S402b, South Building - Level 4. The paper will discuss how carbon dioxide enabled significant annual savings in operating costs for struvite control in centrate lines compared to using ferric chloride.

Praxair’s experience in the water and wastewater treatment industry can help water treatment facilities reliably meet process challenges. This year’s exhibit will include supply and distribution methods of on-site, bulk and packaged gas products. Among the options are Praxair’s Vacuum Pressure Swing Adsorption (VPSA) supply systems, which can meet gaseous oxygen needs from 30 to 200 metric tons per day. VPSA supply is a reliable and cost-effective way to supply oxygen to water treatment facilities.

Additionally, attendees will be able to listen to Praxair via Water Online Radio’s Water Talk, Monday, October 2 at 9:30 AM. Water Talk will be broadcasting live from the WEFTEC show floor.
