Sherwin-Williams Protective & Marine Coatings Introduces Polylon HP Polyester Urethane
High Performance, high solids coating offers wide variety of interior and exterior uses in industrial, marine and commercial applications
Cleveland, OH - Sherwin-Williams Protective and Marine Coatings has introduced Polylon HP Polyurethane, a two component, low VOC polyester-aliphatic urethane coating that provides a high gloss and excellent chemical resistance.
Providing excellent color retention and chalk resistance, Polylon HP Polyurethane also resists splashes, spillage and fumes from dilute acids, alkalis, solvents and fuels. Polylon HP Polyurethane is an excellent choice for tank exteriors, pipelines, bridges, machinery and equipment and marine vessels in product-finish applications. It is suitable for use in USDA-inspected facilities, plus it is acceptable for use in high performance architectural applications.
"Polylon HP Polyurethane offers outstanding resistance to chemical, weather and mechanical conditions," said W. Doni Riddle, Vice President, Sherwin-Williams Industrial & Marine Coatings. "It is abrasion and impact resistant, making it an ideal selection for a variety of exterior and interior applications."
Available in a wide range of colors, Polylon HP Polyurethane is also Ozone Transport Commission (OTC) compliant, with a VOC level <250 g/L.
