PipePac 2000 Software Program

Drainage product engineers, specificers and contractors looking for the best tools to help them select the right material
Drainage product engineers, specificers and contractors looking for the best tools to help them select the right material for buried infrastructure systems will find them in the PipePac 2000 Software from the American Concrete Pipe Association – an enhanced version of the popular PipePac Software. In addition to offering integrated analysis using three independent programs for D-load calculations (3EB), estimating the material costs of the pipe and embedment zones (CAPE) and the real cost of the materials specified over the design life of the program (LCA), the new 32-bit software program has been enhanced to make it more versatile and user-friendly.

PipePac 2000 Software now works in a Windows NT environment and has been modified to include live load bedding factors for arch and elliptical pipe as well as dead load bedding factors for specific applications. Other enhancements include improved help screens, easier pipe cost editing, default wall thickness (for arch and elliptical pipe) and an option for users to download pipe costs directly from the manufacturer.

To check out all the enhancements and download a version of PipePac 2000 Version 2.0, log onto ACPA's website. A CD-ROM may be obtained through ACPA members or by calling ACPA's Resource Center.
