Pipeline Coating Filler Tapes

Polyken filler tapes are designed as an underlying filler material prior to the application of Polyken coating systems. The elastomeric formulation is very conformable, making it ideal for filling in transition areas around t's, ells, valves, specials, welded and coupled field joints. The filler tapes maintain flexibility over a wide temperature range and under various conditions encountered in the field.

#931 Filler Tape
Polyken #931 is a 100% solids butyl rubber filler tape with a heavy duty plastic liner to facilitate application. The butyl alloy composition maintains flexibility and will not flow at temperatures greater than 250°F (121°C).

#939 Filler Tape
Polyken #939 is a thick mastic-like butyl rubber fuller designed to fill and smooth transition areas. The semi-tacky composition remains flexible and is easily molded in place to conform around irregular shapes. #939 comes in roll and flat tape form in a variety of thickness to meet almost any job requirement.
