Immersive experience with both Oculus Rift and new Parkson Virtual Reality app.

Fort Lauderdale, FL (PRWEB) - Parkson will showcase their innovative water and wastewater treatment equipment via virtual reality at WEFTEC, the Water Environment Federation’s 90th conference to be held in Chicago, IL (exhibition October 2-4).

Utilizing state-of-the-art Oculus Rift headsets, attendees will be able to take a step into the future of wastewater treatment as they walk around a virtual showroom, touch and interact with equipment, and listen to a guided tour. Viewers will even be able to see the equipment in life size. “Virtual reality is fairly new in the industry, so we hope to help drive innovation and align these innovative efforts with our business strategy moving forward,” said Omar Gadalla, Parkson’s Director of Marketing and Sustainability.

This cutting-edge experience takes learning to a new level, providing entertainment and education all at once. Among the products featured are the Aqua Caiman® Articulating Rake Screen and Aqua Rhino® Escalating Screen, two newly released headworks screens designed to reduce maintenance and improve screening performance.

Visitors to Parkson’s booth can take home the experience with cardboard virtual reality viewers which, when used in conjunction with the Parkson Virtual Reality app (available soon for download for both Android and iOS), will provide a similar experience.

Those who use the Oculus Rift at the booth will be in for a treat as the experience nears the end, but you’ll have to be there to see firsthand. Be on the lookout for Parkson’s booth #4457 at WEFTEC in McCormick Place.
