In 2020 SUEZ initiated a project called SPOT 2023 focused on reducing operational costs with in SUEZ-operated utilities across the world Optimizer was identified as a viable tool that could potentially help to achieve the objective of this project. To investigate this further, Optimatics and SUEZ ran a pilot project study, using the water distribution network in Cartagena, Colombia.
