Brochure on Electronic Meter Reading System

Fusion Meters released a brochure on their electronic meter reading system, the Talisman which was featured at the American Water Works Association's Conference and Exhibition in Dallas.

The system consists of a remote "pad" which can be read using an inductively coupled "probe". To read the meter, the probe is placed against the pad and the meter identification and flow total are downloaded into the probe. The data can be displayed or transmitted to a computer.

The system is said to work with all known encoded meter types.
