Omnipure Partners with Agion Technologies To Provide Innovative Antimicrobial Technology
Omnipure Responds to Increased Consumer Demand for Water Purity
Wakefield, MA Agion Technologies, Inc., the worldwide leader in naturally-safe, silver-based antimicrobial solutions, has announced it's partnership with Omnipure, the world's premier supplier of inline carbon filtration components in response to increasing consumer and industrial demand for cleaner water. Omnipure will now feature Agion's antimicrobial technology in its line of Omnipure carbon block water filters and patented Aquabond technology to gain better tasting and sediment free water. The Aquabond and carbon block filters featuring Agion can be used in all fluid processing markets including residential filtration, food service, commercial and industrial applications.
By adding Agion to its filters, Omnipure is now able to provide its customers with an effective, low cost solution to inhibit the growth of mold, mildew and fungus in carbon filtration applications. Agion's naturally-safe antimicrobial solutions are approved for all food and water contact making Agion the natural choice to fulfill Omnipure's antimicrobial needs.

Agion's technology is also a notified existing substance under Directive 98/8/EC on the European Biocidal Products Directive (BPD).
