Non-Revenue Water: Industry Perspectives On A Persistent Challenge

Source: Water Online

You treat it, you send it, but you don’t get paid for it. Non-revenue water (NRW), or water lost to leaks, inaccuracies, or other losses, is a persistent problem for utilities everywhere. In the U.S. alone, drinking water utilities lose an average of approximately 20,000 gallons per customer every year, according to the American Water Works Association. AWWA also estimates, more optimistically, that up to 75% of reported water loss in U.S. systems is recoverable when NRW is properly measured and managed. So let's get to work!

In this live event, Water Online’s Kevin Westerling will be joined by industry experts Will Jernigan of Cavanaugh and Jennifer Steffens of Carollo Engineers for a closer look at how water loss is being addressed today through evolving standards, data-driven decision-making, and advanced digital technologies. Tune in to stay ahead of emerging expectations and position your utility for measurable, defensible water loss reduction — and bring your questions for the audience Q&A.
