NGWA Announces 2009 Ground Water Expo In New Orleans

Westerville, OH — The National Ground Water Association and it's members are gearing up for a big year at the 2009 Ground Water Expo taking place December 10-13 in New Orleans.

This highly anticipated annual event provides the premier opportunity for groundwater industry professionals to learn, network, and explore new products and technologies on the industry's largest trade show floor.

"The Expo has afforded us a great venue to showcase our brand, our rigs, new products…all in an environment that targets a key business segment of ours, the water well industry," said Fred Kraut, sales/marketing project manager, U.S. Products Group, Boart Longyear Co.

Water well system contractor Wayne Westberg, MGWC, said he views attending the Expo as an investment.

"Since I joined the association in 1972, I have missed maybe five Expos and regretted it each time. I have never failed to come home feeling I had gained knowledge and information worth much more than the dollars and time it cost me to attend," Westberg said.

Jet-Lube Vice President of Sales Tom Blake said the Expo allows him to take the pulse of the ground water industry.

"It allows Jet-Lube personnel and management to meet with our customers, display and discuss new products, and…better understand the trends, concerns and information that directly affect our business," Blake said.

AMS Inc.'s Marc Chipps said his company expects a solid return on its investment in Expo.

"Every year AMS, Inc. attends the NGWA's Ground Water Expo to meet new and existing customers, and to display our latest technologies. Last year we unveiled some new products at the Expo, and it was a big expense to ship them. But as always, it was a great success for AMS, and we're going to show off our most recent product advancements at the Expo in 2009," Chipps said.
