With the iFILT-S DYNAMIX-Disk Filter INVENT introduces another innovative solution for efficient and high-performance wastewater filtration. The newly developed system combines the advantages of cross-flow filtration with a submerged diamond filter design, enabling exceptionally high flow rates with minimal pressure loss.
Fluid-dynamically optimized design
The design of the iFILT-S DYNAMIX-Disk Filter is based on fundamental fluid dynamics and structural mechanics considerations. The innovative approach of combining cross-flow filtration with diamond-shaped filter wheels that are partially submerged during operation ensures significantly improved hydraulic performance.
The wastewater is fed directly into the rotor via an inlet area and flows through the diamond-shaped filter wheels from the inside out. These are covered with a high-quality stainless steel mesh. During operation, up to 60% of the filter surface is submerged – a decisive factor for high throughput rates and optimal utilization of the filter surface.
Sophisticated Design
The iFILT-S DYNAMIX-Disk Filter impresses with its robust construction. The machine is made entirely of high-quality stainless steel and contains no plastics in its load-bearing or functional main components.
The tank is divided into three sections: inlet, filtrate tank, and outlet. A simple lip seal allows the filter wheels to be submerged by up to 60%. The treated wastewater collects in the filtrate tank and is discharged via a flow-optimized outlet weir, which ensures minimal pressure loss.
Depending on project-specific requirements and to ensure maximum flexibility in planning, the tank can be supplied as a stainless steel vessel or, in the case of a frame version, replaced by a concrete basin provided by the customer.
