NEFCO, Incorporated has been a major supplier of fiberglass components to the Wastewater Treatment Industry for more than a decade. The NEFCO family of products includes the Stamford Density Current Baffle System, the Launder Cover System, v-notched and straight weirs, scum baffles, influent and effluent baffles and launder troughs. NEFCO is the world leader in the development of Density Current Baffle Systems. The Density Current Baffle has been described as "the most cost-effective improvement in clarifier performance available today." The baffle is specifically intended to reduce total suspended solids caused by "short-circuiting" and increase overall hydraulic capacity. NEFCO's patented system is a fully engineered, fiberglass baffle designed for optimum performance, ease of installation and years of trouble-free operation.

The NEFCO Launder Cover System was developed to provide an inexpensive solution to the very expensive problem of algae growth on clarifier launders and weirs. It is also used to contain odors emanating from the same area. The Cover is an attractive and functional system of molded fiberglass panels which cover the launder and weir and inhibit the growth of algae by blocking incident sunlight. In addition, the Cover acts to keep snow, ice and debris from the launder. The NEFCO system features a patented hinged panel design for full and easy access to the weir and trough for inspection and maintenance.
