MWH Constructors Hires New Chief Information Officer
Former Intel Executive Russ Heinsen Joins Executive Team as CIO
MWH Constructors (MWHC), a leading global construction firm focused on water and energy, has named Russ Heinsen as its new chief information officer (CIO). Heinsen will be responsible for leading MWHC’s global Information Technology (IT) efforts and is set to start the role this month.

Heinsen spent the last 30 years at Intel Corporation, growing with the company in positions of increased challenge and complexity, including various roles in finance, software development, ERP implementation, production support, process re-engineering, and enterprise/solution architecture. Heinsen led the Finance IT organization, overseeing worldwide development and production support for all Intel Financial systems. Additionally, he launched a Project Management Office responsible for process re-engineering and technology solutions for worldwide facility operations.
In 2008, Heinsen began leading Intel’s office renovation program, a multi-year construction project that changed the look and feel of thousands of offices across the company. In 2013, he launched a Project Management Office responsible for process re-engineering and technology solutions for worldwide facility operations.
Heinsen holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from California State University, Chico.
