Microfiltration Units

The units are constructed to industrial specifications using common materials of construction
Microfiltration is a simple cross flow pressure filtration process, the basic element is a membrane which has a specific size pore, or hole, in it. Water under pressure is supplied to the membrane and pure water passes through as permeate, while the suspended solids are concentrated in a reject or concentrate stream. Use of the microfiltration process is a proven method to upgrade water for higher quality end uses, and to polish chemically treated wastewater to meet stringent reuse or discharge standards.

ProChemTech is pleased to offer both a line of standard microfiltration units in average flow ratings from 3,675 gpd to 60,000 gpd, as well as custom design units, using a variety of advanced thin film composite and polymer membranes. These units are available in a number of different operating pressures, configurations, particle size cutoffs, membrane materials, and recovery rates to match the tremendous variety of potential applications in water and wastewater treatment.

The units are constructed to industrial specifications using common materials of construction, such as carbon steel, stainless steel, and CPVC; and industrial quality components, such as Allen Bradley switch gear. We believe that our combination of quality design, industrial components, and reasonable price presents the best means for application of the microfiltration process to industrial water and wastewater problems.
