Metrohm-Peak, Inc. was first known as an independent laboratory called Peak-Analytical, Inc., which specialized in ion analyses of almost any kind. Peak Analytical, Inc., has been most widely known for its expertise and precision in Ion Chromatography.

Jeff M. Brewer started Peak Analytical in 1991 with two IC instruments and a dream. What started out in a small laboratory in a rented office has now become a very successful laboratory known throughout the world for its reliability, honesty, and precision. The company focus, to provide quality analytical services and care for our customers, at a fair and reasonable price, has provided the mechanism for growth that continues today.

On April 1, 2000, Peak Analytical, Inc. entered in to a partnership with Metrohm, Ltd., a company out of Herisau, Switzerland, to form Metrohm-Peak, Inc. Metrohm is known for their contributions to analytical communities throughout the world. With over five decades of analytical services and instrumentation behind them, Metrohm, Ltd. is making a huge impact on the world of ion chromatography.

The partnership with Metrohm allows the newly formed Metrohm-Peak, Inc. to expand our support to the analytical community in North America, as we continue to provide our customers worldwide expertise in analytical services. Today, the Analytical Services Group of Metrohm-Peak, Inc. continues our specialty focus in separations and the Analytical Instruments Group now represents the Metrohm Ion Chromatography line of products in North America, allowing us to expand our dream of supplying our customers the total quality and support in all areas of Ion Chromatography they deserve.
