Metadigm Expands Utility Service Business With Second Office Opening In Atlanta
Leading Utility Services Company Poised for National Growth; Creating Hundreds of Jobs
Metadigm Services, a utility services company specializing in Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) services to utilities, announced the opening of its second Metro Atlanta office in Peachtree Dunwoody Pavilion. The company continues to grow at a rapid pace and anticipates adding over 100 employees to their work force in the next year.
The Peachtree Dunwoody office is a 14,400 square-foot space, formerly occupied by Autotrader.com. It serves as the company's executive headquarters, housing about 30 executive, sales information technology and accounting staff. These employees moved from Metadigm's Covington location, which is a 70,000 square-foot facility that now houses logistics, warehousing, meter lab testing and network data operations.
"Metadigm is growing both in numbers and geographically. We hired about 150 employees this year, and intend to add 300-400 employees over the next several years. This organic growth will be supplemented with acquisition growth as well," said Robert Shively, CEO of Metadigm Services. "The Peachtree Dunwoody office is the right size and location to accommodate our rapid growth."
Currently, Metadigm has about 50 open positions with at least 12 of those open positions in the Peachtree Dunwoody office. With plans for national expansion, Metadigm also recently opened an office in Dallas, and plans to continue adding offices throughout the country over the next several years.
