PCI Gases is proud to announce the successful award and installation of two (2) significant contracts in India for the oxygen enrichment of Industrial Wastewater, reinforcing our growing presence in the region and proving the value of our Low-Pressure-to-Low-Pressure (LP2LP) oxygen enrichment technology.

The first contract involved the installation of a single PCI VSA technology Deployable Oxygen Concentrator System (DOCS) 500-55 oxygen generator system, which is now fully operational in a wastewater treatment plant within a soft drink bottling facility. This advanced system is already enhancing the facility’s ability to treat wastewater efficiently and sustainably, significantly contributing to the plant’s overall operational success. The use of oxygen within the treatment plant has resulted in a significant savings in the operation of the downstream Reverse Osmosis Process, saving in wash down and backwash chemicals while extending the life of the RO membranes.

The second installation PCI Gases has installed and is currently running three (3) DOCS 500-5 systems at a pharmaceutical wastewater treatment plant. These systems are helping increase the plant’s wastewater treatment capacity by ensuring sufficient oxygen availability in the aeration system. Our LP2LP solution demonstrates our ongoing commitment to providing innovative and reliable solutions for diverse industries. LP2LP Technology

PCI Gases LP2LP Injection solution is an advance in oxygen enrichment. Our VSA solution offers the ability to produce high purity oxygen at low pressure, saving over 15% in power from competitor solutions. This is then combined with a low-pressure injection technology, allowing PCI Gases to offer the lowest cost of oxygen actually dissolved in water, when compared to PSA, LOX or any other oxygen supply solution.

VSA Technology

To produce oxygen from air, PCI uses a proprietary Vacuum Swing Adsorption (VSA) process that eliminates many of the design problems associated with traditional on-site gas separation systems (PSA). Our innovative VSA system eliminates the need for process valves, feed air compressors, associated dryers and feed air filtering systems. Our robust VSA oxygen process extracts maximum sieve and power efficiencies = low cost (both CapX and OpX) high purity oxygen generation. Oxygen produced is 93% purity. Additional product/systems features include load following, remote monitoring and diagnostics along with an industry only 10-year warranty on the adsorber bed vessel. Average life span of our systems is 10-15+ years.
