Lafarge Calcium Aluminates, Inc., is the North American Headquarters of Lafarge Aluminates, the world's leading manufacturer of calcium aluminate cements.

Lafarge Aluminates is part of the Specialty Products Division of the Lafarge Group, one of the world's leading producers of building materials and cements. The Lafarge Group employs more than 68,000 people and is present in over 65 countries.

Lafarge Calcium Aluminates (LCA), an ISO 9002 certified production facility, employs 70 people and produces eight types of calcium aluminate cement for hundreds of customers in a wide range of markets in Mexico, Canada, and the US.

The head office and plant site for LCA is located on the Elizabeth River in Chesapeake, Virginia. Chesapeake is situated in the southeastern part of the state in an area generally referred to as Hampton Roads or the Tidewater Area. The area is bordered on the north by the Chesapeake Bay and on the east by the Atlantic Ocean.

One of the fastest growing areas in Virginia, the City of Chesapeake (population 200,750) is the second largest city in terms of land area.
