A modular, microprocessor controlled and computer compatible lab mixer and scale-up system is described in this two-sided, color product description sheet. Accordingly, the mixer is designed for flexibility, functionality, and power. The software performs all necessary calculations for mixer sizing and scale-up/down using formulas based on the most recent developments in mixing technology. Input/output data and help information are shown on one screen. Results are displayed in both the metric and English systems and can be saved as an ASCII file for further processing. The controller, mixer head, or other parts can be purchased separately; or purchase can be as a kit that includes: microprocessor controller providing mixing speed within ± 0.2% of s etpoint; mixer head offering a speed range of 60 to 2300 rpm with a 1/10-hp PMDC motor; software programs; dual clamp; support stand; 316 SS shaft; four propellers; Kimax tank; baffles; six impellers; and documentation of scale-up pr ocedure.
