KWH Pipe

KWH Pipe is the largest manufacturer of polyethylene pipe and fittings in Canada and one of the leading manufacturers of these products in the United States. Pipe production is carried out at three locations: Huntsville, Ontario, Saskatoon, Saskatchewan and Shafter, California. These three North American production facilities enable KWH Pipe to be one of the principal suppliers of polyethylene pipe and fittings in North America, as well as, the Caribbean, Central and South America.

In addition to the North American operations, KWH Pipe Group operates production facilities in Finland, Denmark, Sweden, Poland, Portugal, India, Thailand and Malaysia.

The company's principal product, Sclairpipe® high density polyethylene pipe, has its primary uses in industrial, chemical and mining, water and wastewater applications. In the municipal market, Sclairpipe® excels in potable water, sewers, forcemains and landfill applications.

Wehogas medium and high density polyethylene pipe, also manufactured by KWH Pipe, is used extensively for natural gas distribution and, in fact, polyethylene pipe is the material of choice for 95% of all natural gas distribution piping installed in Canada and the US.

Sales and marketing activities originate at corporate headquarters in Mississauga, Ontario and are implemented through branch offices and distributors across North America.

KWH Pipe was the first manufacturer of large diameter HDPE pipe in North America and today, manufactures the largest diameter (63 inch - 1600 mm) HDPE pressure pipe available on the market worldwide. Its almost unique capability in, and emphasis on, large diameter and thick wall high density polyethylene pipe and fittings are what have made KWH Pipe distinctive in the world of plastic pipe.
