Kroff Materials Reprocessing, Inc. Establishes New Headquarters, Prepares For Expanded Product And Service Offerings

Growing Division of Kroff, Inc. Now Operating in Belcamp, Md.
Pittsburgh, PA /PRNewswire/ - Kroff, Inc. , one of the fastest-growing water treatment companies in the United States, is expanding its reach and offerings in the growing market of recycled industrial byproducts, including waste oil. Kroff Materials Reprocessing, Inc. (KMR), a division of Kroff, has officially established its new headquarters in Belcamp, Md. (4605 Richlynn Drive). The 28,000-square-foot facility has comprehensive processing and storage capabilities, and KMR will also offer door-to-door reclamation and delivery services to its customers.
"For a number of years, Kroff Materials Reprocessing operated inside the Sparrows Point facility for Severstal North America, which is located in Sparrows Point, Md. Our landlord – a steel manufacturer – was also our primary client," said Jim Cipollone, general manager of KMR. "Our new facility is strategically located along the I-95 corridor in Belcamp, Md. That places KMR within reach of customers in Maryland, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Virginia and Washington, D.C."
Kroff Materials Reprocessing specializes in recycling oil and other industrial byproducts produced by the transportation industry (automotive dealerships, automotive service stations and other related businesses) as well as heavy industry and construction. These companies are required by law to properly dispose of the used oil that they produce. KMR collects the used oil, recycles it by removing water and organic/inorganic solids, and then offers it as a viable alternative fuel to a variety of other businesses – everything from asphalt manufacturers to steel producers.
"By reclaiming this used oil, recycling it and finding an alternative use for it, KMR is offering an excellent solution to our clients," Cipollone added.
With its newly established headquarters, KMR also plans to venture into new product areas that include recycling of oil filters, anti-freeze, oil/water separator cleaning and service, oil drum collection and disposal, lab services, fuel oil additives, and dust suppressants.
"When you combine our new location and our expertise, KMR is uniquely positioned to respond to the increasing demand for reliable materials processing services in a variety of industries," added Keith Kronk, president of Kroff, Inc. "Our customers know they can trust us to safely and effectively handle their industrial byproducts, and they have come to appreciate our commitment to superior customer service. With these strengths, we see plenty of potential for growth."
