John Croom Joins AUC Group, L.P. To Offer Innovative, Low-Cost Wastewater Treatment Options In Gulf States Region

Houston, TX – AUC Group, L.P. announces the addition of John Croom to their team of wastewater treatment plant experts as Senior Business Development Manager responsible for new client acquisition, sales team building and account management across the southeastern United States, including Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina and South Carolina. He will be based in the new AUC Group office in Mobile, Alabama.

Initially, Croom will focus on smaller communities and municipalities that currently use a “lagoon system” of wastewater treatment, which in some states has become a compliance issue. AUC’s lease plant program is an extremely cost effective solution relative to concrete plants, costing only a small fraction of the alternative’s required capital outlay. AUC will install, lease, expand, and ultimately remove the facilities when a mature project has a permanent plant in place. They offer a variety of short and long term leasing options as well as lease-to-own and installment sale programs. Croom brings quite a bit of experience to the AUC team. He was previously a Process Sales Engineer with Southern Water Technologies. His experience and understanding of the challenges facing cities and industry both financially and environmentally makes him a critical resource for our future clients and future growth. Prior to his work at Southern Water, he owned and operated his own environmental consulting firm, OSR, LLC. During his time as an owner operator, he learned a great deal about permitting, compliance, design build projects and treatment technologies for a number of waste streams. A graduate of the University of Southern Alabama, he is an active member and presenter with AWWA, AWEA, WEF, AL-MS-FL associations, PEP Industrial Environmental Partners, Mobile Bay NEP and the Mobile Area Chamber of Commerce. As an avid outdoorsman and consultant, John is passionate about providing common sense solutions to meet his client’s needs as well as bettering the downstream environment.
