IPEC Industries
IPEC screens are used for separating solids from water. Mesh lined screens 100 – 250 micron, wedge wire screens 0.010" to 0.250" and perforated drums for 1/16" to ½". Rotary screens are used when the material tends to blind the screening element because of their self-cleaning capability and side hill screens are used for high solids applications.
IPEC's screening equipment is widely accepted in the meat, poultry, vegetable, pulp and paper, textile and petro-chemical industries, and in the treatment of municipal wastewater & sludge-thickening applications.
The IPEC screening equipment is used primarily to remove contaminant solids from waste effluents or to capture product from process streams. Important features of the screens are the self-cleaning action, compact efficient design, durability, and versatility over a wide range of applications.
The IPEC screens can be used for coarse separations, but are used primarily for separations and classifications in the 100 - 1500 micron size category. The rotary equipment is used extensively where sticky or gelatinous solids tend to blind and impede liquid movement through the screening element."
