Information Sheet: McGard Hydrant Lock

The patented Intimidator Hydrant Lock has a free-spinning lower shroud and a free-spinning, spring-loaded top cap that prevents access to the operating nut, insuring a tamper resistant system. The operating wrench comes equipped with a standard fireman's tool so that only one tool is needed to operate locked or unlocked hydrants. The Hydrant Lock fits all hydrant types and requires no operating nut modifications.
