Infiltrator Systems Agrees To Acquire Advanced Drainage Systems' Septic Chamber Assets

Infiltrator Systems, Inc. (ISI) announced recently it has agreed to acquire the assets of the septic chamber business of Advanced Drainage Systems, Inc. (ADS) and its subsidiaries. The acquisition is part of Infiltrator Systems' ongoing commitment to offer the most innovative quality and service to the onsite wastewater industry. Infiltrator currently offers a broad family of products that save septic installation professionals time and money. Infiltrator's current wastewater product offerings include the Quick4 and Quick4 Plus lines of septic chambers as well as the TW and IM series of septic tanks, EZflow synthetic aggregate leachfields, EZset risers and Aquaworx products.

As part of the acquisition, ADS, based in Hilliard, OH, has entered into a long-term, non-exclusive distribution agreement with Infiltrator Systems and will continue to market and sell the Arc and BioDiffuser product lines.

The ADS chamber product line is comprised of a family of onsite wastewater infiltration chambers that are well established in the onsite industry. These products include the Arc 18, Arc 24, Arc 36, Arc 36LP, Arc 36HC chambers as well as the complete BioDiffuser line of chambers.

The transaction is expected to be completed within the next several months, subject to customary closing conditions and necessary regulatory approvals. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
