Idrica Nominated For The Prestigious Aquatech Innovation Award 2021

The GoAigua SARS Analytics solution, marketed by the multinational Idrica, has been nominated in the Transport and Process & Control category of the prestigious Aquatech Innovation Award 2021.

GoAigua SARS Analytics is an Early Warning System (EWS) that facilitates decision-making in COVID-19 outbreaks. This solution is built on the GoAigua platform and integrates wastewater parameters, socio-sanitary and geographical variables, providing a holistic overview of virus concentration in neighborhoods and cities.

This award recognizes the most innovative products, services and concepts in the water industry. The jury of experts considers the international and disruptive potential of each company’s value proposition in each of the five categories: Water Supply, Wastewater Treatment, Transport and Process & Control, Green Chemicals for Water Technology, and Innovation. Additionally, for the first time, the entry with the largest number of votes from the public will receive the community award. All winners will be announced on Monday, November 1.

Aquatech Amsterdam, November 2-5
Idrica will be attending Aquatech Amsterdam, which is once again being held in the RAI Amsterdam Convention Centre from November 2-5. However, the event kicks off on November 1st with the Innovation Forum. Aquatech, the world’s leading platform for water technology professionals, organizes this trade meeting to showcase processes, and drinking water and wastewater solutions. This year, the fair is being delivered in a blended format, combining in-person and online initiatives, in a journey that started in June with activities such as talk shows and the Aquatech BreakOuts.

Idrica has a stand at the event and will also be taking part in several conferences during this forum, which aims to connect more than 15,000 water professionals from all over the world. More than 550 exhibitors and +100 speakers will be taking part in the trade fair.

Innovation Forum
The Aquatech Innovation Forum will be taking place on November 1st with the tagline “Celebrating Water’s Changemakers”. This event is the ideal scenario to learn about the latest developments in digitally transforming water. From utility innovation managers, to start-ups, investors and corporate water managers, it will be bringing together the industry leaders to share their experiences in a creative atmosphere. Pablo Alcoriza, CTO at Idrica, will be participating in the panel entitled “Culture Change: AI integration & ageing workforces“, which will be moderated by Dragan Savic, the CEO of KRW Water Research Institute.

SWAN and AquaStage
AquaStage is a unique scenario for the exchange of knowledge. Joan Carles Guardiola, Idrica’s Key Account Manager for Europe, will be speaking on Tuesday, November 2, about the case study “Leak detection beyond DMAs: how Big Data, mathematical models and algorithms can pinpoint leaks”. Idrica’s Market Analyst, Marta Escobar, will be participating on Thursday, November 4, with the speech entitled “Global Water Trends: how smart solutions are set to shape the future of water resource management”.

Idrica is also a member of SWAN (Smart Water Networks Forum), the leading global hub for the smart water industry. On this occasion, one of Idrica’s experts will be taking part in the SWAN Digital Water HUB, a hotspot to learn all about the latest trends and technologies in the sector. The HUB connects water utilities and industrial end users with technology & solution providers, and research & knowledge partners. On November 4, Joan Carles Guardiola will be giving a conference entitled “Case Study – How smart wastewater technology prevents SSOs in the City of Houston”.
