HiPOx Advanced Oxidation for Water Reuse

HiPOx is an Advanced Oxidation Process developed to enable high-performance water treatment, wastewater reuse, and environmental remediation.

Improving on the established efficiencies of traditional ozone-based treatment systems, HiPOx maximizes the production of hydroxyl radicals and controls the formation of bromate by limiting ozone contact with bromide ions through a distributed, multiple-injection point system.

Advanced Oxidation destroys hard-to-treat contaminants with no waste residuals; HiPOx technology provides water disinfection plus simultaneous color and odor removal, and EDC and other emerging contaminant destruction at no added cost.

As the only ozone-based process accepted under the CDPH Title 22 standard for unrestricted water reuse, HiPOx unlocks new efficiencies along the traditional water treatment train and unconventional water reclamation.
