Headworks Bar Screen — Buy Well, Buy Once!

Our screens have been installed in all corners of the world and this installation at Selkirk, Manitoba continues that exciting trend. The City of Selkirk is located 14 kms from Winnipeg in the Western Canadian province of Manitoba and is also known as the Catfish Capital of the World!

The City of Selkirk was looking at upgrading the front end of their sewage plant a few years ago. The plant operators were very involved in the decision making.  As part of their research, they chose to visit a couple of plants and were prepared to ask the right questions. Their procurement parameters were to buy a screen which was user friendly and of high quality. They visited a wastewater plant in Canmore, Alberta, Canada, which had some years before purchase a filter belt screen which they were highly dissatisfied with.  The City of Canmore replaced it with a Headworks Bar Screen which they purchased in 2006. The Canmore group where happy to answer the Selkirk operators’ questions and share their stories of satisfactory experiences with the Headworks unit.
