Harrington Environmental Engineering

Harrington Industrial Plastics, Inc. was founded in 1959 with the goal of being a major player in the distribution of industrial plastic pipe, fittings and valves for corrosive liquid service. A decade later the company was purchased by Cliff Springmeier and was expanded to include an environmental engineering group. In 1989, Harrington Industrial Plastics, Inc. was purchased by Glynwed International of Birmingham, England. Glynwed International is listed on the London exchange reporting year-end sales in 1996 of $2.13 billion.

Today, Harrington is the nation's largest distributor of industrial plastic piping and the FRP equipment manufacturer others try to imitate. The reasons for Harrington's success are the company's focus on industry requirements; high standards of craftsmanship; product warranty; a dedicated, technically-oriented staff; and service ability in virtually every major marketing area in the United States.
