Goodnight Midstream, LLC, a leading midstream produced water infrastructure company, announced recently it placed two high-pressure, trans-basin produced water pipelines into commercial service with a combined pipeline throughput capacity of 600,000 barrels of produced water per day.
The Llano gathering system, located in Lea County, New Mexico, consists of 45 miles of pipeline initially connected to three disposal processing facilities. The Rattlesnake system provides produced water takeaway for Goodnight’s customers in Ward County, Texas, and includes 25 miles of pipeline. Both systems service long-term commitments from large producers, with plans for expansion in 2019.
"With our first two trans-basin pipeline systems operational, Goodnight Midstream can provide reliable and secure produced water transportation services for our customers operating in the Delaware Basin,” said Patrick Walker, Chief Executive Officer. “I’m proud of our team for completing these major projects on time. We are thankful for the support of our customers, local partners and landowners that made these systems possible. We are pleased to reach this important milestone.”
