ECOPOD® Commercial
ECOPOD Commercial Advanced Wastewater Treatment Unit is a fixed-film system designed to significantly reduce nitrogen, BOD, and TSS in capacities from 1500 to 250,000 gpd (5685 to 947,5000 L/d) in pre-engineered treatment plants for commercial or decentralized wastewater treatment.
Available as a vertical cylindrical tank or horizontal tank, ECOPOD uses engineered plastic media inside to house bacteria that break down waste. The unit installs below-, above, or at-grade, depending on the project, and it is designed specifically to minimize sludge production for fewer pump-out cycles. The unit has no moving parts inside the tank, making O&M easier. Ideal applications for ECOPOD Commercial include:
