Eagle Spring Filtration, Inc. was established in the mid 80's as it became apparent that the quality of water was continuing to decline in the United States just as it had in other parts of the world. At the same time, the demand for safe, high-quality drinking water by consumers was on the rise as evidenced in the dramatic increased in bottled water consumption.

Eagle Spring's commitment to the quality of life, available through quality drinking water, extends beyond the community and into the world in which we live. This commitment helped make Eagle Spring instrumental in the development of the "Mission" filtration system that is being sent to third world countries and remote locations where potable running water is virtually impossible to obtain. Our goal is to continue to develop our line of Drinking Water Systems, which will enable us to be more active in these types of projects.

During 1988, Eagle Spring's early design for filtration was developed and production of simple carbon filters began in 1989. During 1989, the filters were changed internally attack the old generation filtration problems such as bacteria growth in the media, short life and narrow range of contaminant removal. Eagle Spring created a multi-media (staged layers) filter specifically designed to be user friendly, cost effective and convenient, as well as to remove a broad range of contaminants. Testing to NSF Standards at an independent laboratory was completed in 1990. This was followed by patent applications on appropriate proportions of the media within the media bed, as well as design patents and trademarks on a wide variety of items. Thus, the "Multi-Media" filter was born and became the "New Generation Drinking Water System."

Eagle Spring manufactures a full line of residential water filters from point-of-use to whole-house, and a line of light commercial and food service products. Eagle Spring has developed and continues to develop housings, cartridges, and other unique molded products such as the #2000 Countertop System that gave Eagle Spring a special place in the market and the flexibility to create "systems" with different capabilities and functions.

This full line of products gives Eagle Spring the ability to offer the dealer/installer (and, ultimately, the consumer) products that range from housings and cartridges for sediment, taste and odor; our 2000 series drinking water systems; systems for private wells that control iron, sulphur and other problems; water softeners; reverse osmosis; microbial systems employing ultra-violet and chlorination; the small bottle package plant; and a full line of parts and accessories. The focus of this expansion is to bring strength to the authorized dealer program and bring full service from Eagle Spring to the consumer.

In keeping pace with the "New Millennium," Eagle Spring is constantly reviewing and renewing itself and it's products. By choosing to manufacture our own cartridges and filters in house, we are able to be very competitive, as well as insure the quality in which the name "Eagle Spring" is associated. By working with our dealers hand in hand and offering regular training on not only our products, but also the water market as a whole, we enable our dealers to maintain their ability to remain on the pinnacle of the water business. We strive to meet and surpass industry standards set by the National Sanitation Foundation and the Water Quality Association.
