Dragon Dryer Indirect Rotating Chamber Biosolids Dryer

The Dragon Dryer™ Indirect Rotating Chamber Biosolids Dryer, developed by USFilter's Davis Products, is an efficient heat drying system, designed to minimize the consumption of energy, maximize the reduction of biosolids volume, protect the environment from unwanted emissions, and offer a high degree of system safety and reliability.

The Dragon Dryer™ is capable of processing 8 to 60 wet tons per day, per unit at 12 to 30% solids. By drying sludge cake with the Dragon, municipalities not only reduce their volume of sludge by 4 to 1, but also produce a beneficial Class A product.

The Dragon Dryer offers:

• Dual indirect heat source dries the biosolids without direct contact with heat source
  
• Complete isolation of the sludge, in the drying chamber, from combustion gases allows for essentially zero emissions
  
• Single pass system avoids possibility of recontamination
