Application Note: Digester Gas Measurement

Application: Measure Digester gas at a water treatment plant.

Measurement Challenge/Difficulty: The customer was having problems with the existing Rockwell Turbine Digester Gas Flowmeters. These meters never worked properly and never provided the correct flow output to the computer system. The city wanted an accurate Digester Gas flow measurement and selected V-Cone’s. The article printed in Water and Wastewater, April 1992 helped make the decision. The meters are scheduled for installation in December 1995.
