DEXSORB® Treatment At Groundwater Pump Station

Groundwater systems supplying small public drinking water networks frequently face extreme per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) contamination levels, straining conventional filtration media like granular activated carbon (GAC). Upgrading treatment infrastructure within existing facility footprints requires high-capacity media that can reliably achieve stringent regulatory compliance under continuous operational flow. Over nearly two years of full-scale operation, replacing standard GAC with advanced cyclodextrin-based adsorbent media successfully treated approximately 17 million gallons of groundwater. The system consistently reduced raw total EPA PFAS6 concentrations ranging from 378 to 934 ppt down to non-detect levels (<2.2 ppt) with smooth hydraulics and low pressure drop. Review the full operational performance data and sampling results to evaluate retrofitting options for your municipal water treatment system.
