Dechlorination For Disinfectant Wipes Manufacturer

wipes-manufacturer-CS

Nice Pak/PDI, a manufacturer of disinfectant wipes, has found a chemical-free solution to remove chlorine from their process water, thanks to Atlantium HOD systems. These systems utilize UV technology to disinfect the water and ensure that chlorine is decomposed. After successful testing, the HOD systems were integrated into the company's PLC.

The Atlantium HOD UV solution is specifically designed to eliminate water-borne FAC chlorine molecules, protecting membranes from degradation. Over a 320-day period, data showed that the aqueous FAC concentration was undetectable and the water quality remained consistently high. The UV-protected RO membranes also exhibited consistent salt passage, indicating excellent membrane performance.

Nice Pak/PDI chose the Atlantium HOD UV solution for water dechlorination due to its cost-effectiveness and alignment with their corporate goals of chemical-free, environmentally-friendly production. The HOD UV solution not only dechlorinates water but also provides high-level disinfection to reduce the potential for biofouling.
