Dauber To Serve As Technical Practice Lead In Hydrology, Hydraulics, And Drainage Engineering For WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff In Charlotte

Karl Dauber has been named a national practice lead for hydrology, hydraulics, and drainage engineering for the U.S. Water & Environment Business at WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff, a global engineering and professional services organization.

Formerly Water Area Manager in WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff’s Charlotte office, Mr. Dauber will be supporting technical leadership and excellence within the firm’s water practice, supporting pursuits and projects across the U.S. as a national technical resource.

Mr. Dauber has over 31 years of experience in drainage system design, storm water management, floodplain analysis, hydrology, hydraulics, and scour analysis. He has been responsible for numerous storm water management and flood mitigation studies, drainage system designs, water quality designs, floodplain studies, and bridge scour studies. He also has extensive experience with post-construction storm water regulations compliance, having served on the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection’s Storm Water BMP Manual Technical Advisory Committee, helping to develop storm water policy and BMP design methods for the state.

A licensed professional engineer in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, and South Carolina, Mr. Dauber received a B.S. in forest engineering from the University of Maine. He is a member of the American Public Works Association.
