Control Head

Built with a decentralized intelligence the Type 8630 control head unit is designed for easy ON/OFF process control. This compact, stand alone control module functions as a position sensor, micro-processor controller and pilot actuator, and can be used in applications requiring an advanced level of process automation such as water treatment facilities, chemical, textile and pharmaceutical industries, and food and beverage processing.

Units can be fitted on top of fluidic module out of a wide range of valve bodies and connected to existing process automation systems. The system has various electrical interfaces including conventional cable glands and EaseOn or Multipin connections are designed to ensure electrical connectivity with other sensors and switches. Three different sensor input signals are accepted by the product: PT 100, 4-20mA or frequency. Units are powered with 24 Vdc electrical termination and offer two binary outputs. Customized systems are also available.
