Connecting To North America As Evove Is Accepted On BREW 2.0

UK technology business Evove has been successful in its application to join the BREW cohort of Wisconsin-based The Water Council. Platform, will provide scale-up opportunities as company aims to grow in North America

The Business, Research and Entrepreneurship in Water (BREW) Accelerator 2.0 is a next-stage post-accelerator created to help young companies build connections and grow their company’s capacity. When the announcement was made, Evove CMO Andrew Walker said “The Water Council has successfully galvanized business prospects for water technology companies like ours and Evove is thrilled and honoured to have been accepted onto BREW. From this mature platform, we will be seeking new partnerships, business potential and piloting opportunities with our precision filtration and separation technologies.”

This is the second year for The Water Council’s BREW 2.0, which focuses on late-stage water technology startups ready to enter the market or with early sales. The program includes multiple weeks of targeted virtual training and follow-up training throughout the year to help young companies build connections and grow capacity. The companies will present their innovations at a virtual pitch event for water industry professionals and investors Thursday, June 23. BREW 2.0 is sponsored by Beckhoff Automation, based in Germany with U.S. headquarters in Minnesota, and Thales Water Advisors of Los Angeles. Thales will provide expertise and thought leadership for BREW 2.0 participants, particularly in the areas of go-to-market strategy and scaling up. This is the first full BREW cycle for both sponsors.

June 7-8 sees the BlueTech Forum convene in Vancouver, at which Evove will be joining the community of “the brightest minds in the global water sector” to further establish North American market traction and showcase the membrane innovations that are slashing the energy needed for filtration and enabling more water or process produce to be reclaimed.
