A microprocessor-controlled instrument, the Model 9730 combustible gas monitor can be programmed and calibrated without opening the instrument
A microprocessor-controlled instrument for the detection and measurement of combustible gases, the Model 9730 combustible gas monitor can be used in Class I, Division 1, Group B, C and D hazardous areas. The system can be programmed and calibrated without opening the instrument or declassifying the area. Concentration information is displayed as percent LEL on a local digital readout and output as a 4-20mA analog signal.

The system operates with a temperature range of –4°F to 140°F and in humidity from 5 to 95% non-condensing. It features three user-programmable gas concentration alarms, a low zero fault alarm and a sensor fault alarm. Programming may be performed locally using the magnetic keypad or remotely via an RS485 digital input signal. This product is designed to be compatible with all standard controllers and PLCs, and operates on 24 VDC voltage and consumes 2.5 watts of power.
