Chemstations, Inc.

Chemstations is a leading supplier of process simulation software, headquartered in Houston, Texas.

The company originated in 1984 when a small group of entrepreneurial university professors recognized a need. Their objective was to offer a PC-based process simulation program which was powerful, flexible, and easy to use. This objective enabled the phenomenal growth in the number of CHEMCAD users and Chemstations' strong financial performance. Chemstations serves the following process industries: specialty chemicals, pharmaceuticals, polymers, petrochemicals, refining, and gas processing.

Chemstations' major focus is to provide engineers with a high technology chemical engineering workstation. Our workstation concept is a type of "open system" which integrates the information used in the process industry. As the industry has evolved, the job of the chemical engineer has become increasingly difficult. He is now less of a specialist in one area and more of a generalist. It is, therefore, imperative that his software be fast, friendly, and able to communicate with other programs.
