Ceilcote Air Pollution Control
History The Ceilcote Company began operating in 1926 as a supplier of industrial corrosion resistant materials. Beginning with a corrosion resistant lining for acid pickling tanks, the company, over the years, introduced a wide range of products including tank linings, acid resistant bonding cements, floor surfacing, grouting materials, protective coatings, reinforced plastic process equipment, corrosive air handling equipment and air pollution control equipment and systems.
Through innovative product development, Ceilcote introduced to the market Tellerette® Tower Packing in the early 1960's and fiberglass reinforced plastic fans for corrosive fume handling in 1966.
Ceilcote also pioneered the development and manufacture of reinforced plastic corrosion resistant equipment, such as pipe, tanks, and fume handling systems, beginning in 1956.
In 1960, Ceilcote entered the air pollution control equipment business through extension of its process equipment fabrication capabilities. Later product developments and introductions include: chevron blade type mist eliminators; rod bed type venturi scrubbers, eductor type venturi scrubbers; sieve tray type scrubbers; a new, improved type of Tellerette tower packing (our Type-K); and an electrostatically augmented wet scrubber system (IWS® System).
The Company's commitment today, as it has been for almost 75 years, is to provide high-quality, cost-effective solutions to air pollution control problems and back them with the services needed to fill the customer's needs.
