Badger Meter To Feature Flow Measurement Solutions For Building Management, HVAC At AHR Expo 2023

Badger Meter will feature best-in-class solutions to challenges facing today's building managers and HVAC professionals in booth #C6169 at the AHR Expo 2023, February 6-8 in Atlanta, Georgia.

The company’s flow measurement technology provides actionable intelligence to control, manage and optimize water delivery, heating and cooling systems, wastewater collection and water safety and sustainability.

The Badger Meter booth will feature its full range of metering technologies, including the:

  • ModMAG® M2000 Electromagnetic flow meter: The M2000 meter is the first full-bore inline electromagnetic meter to complete the BACnet Testing Laboratories (BTL) Certification Program, assuring seamless integration with building management systems. It offers BACnet MS/TP, BACnet/IP, EtherNet/IP and Modbus TCP/IP communication protocols and an advanced, user-friendly design built for field verification testing through a simple, handheld device. In addition, the M2000 meter delivers accuracy of ±1% with zero straight run required in applications with limited space or ±0.20% of rate ±1 mm/s with appropriate straight run.
  • Dynasonics® TFX-5000 Ultrasonic Clamp-On flow meter: The TFX-5000 meter, which has also completed the BTL Certification Program for BACnet MS/TP, has no moving parts and easily attaches to a pipe’s exterior. It can be put into service by a single person in under 30 minutes—without shutting down the process or intruding into existing piping, which reduces installation time and cost. The TFX-5000 meter can be used with dual clamp-on Resistance Temperature Detectors (RTDs) for British Thermal Unit (Btu) energy measurement. This meter is ideally suited for hydronic applications, such as cooling tower blowdown, chilled water, makeup water, condenser water, condensate boiler feed return, submetering and energy efficiency initiatives.
  • Impeller SDI Series flow sensor: The SDI Series flow sensor, now certified to NSF/ANSI/CAN Standards 61 and 372, offers unparalleled performance for liquid flow measurement in closed pipe systems with an easy-to-install, economical package. Impeller sensors offer a quick response to changes in flow rate and are well suited to flow control and batch type applications, in addition to flow monitoring.
  • Vortex VN2000 Hot Tap Insertion flow meter: The VN2000 flow meter measures the volumetric or mass flow rate of steam, gases or liquids over a large flow range. The meter has a heavy-duty design that can withstand the most abusive environments, inside and outside the pipe.
