Atlantium’s advanced HOD MP UV will provide an environmentally friendly, chemical-free solution that effectively prevents Golden Mussel impact on industrial cooling water systems. The HOD UV systems have proven success in preventing the impacts of Aquatic Invasive Species (AIS) in diverse markets worldwide for over 12 years. Golden mussels (Limnoperna fortunei), an aquatic invasive species native to China, have recently been detected at multiple sites within the California water conveyance system. The Golden mussel has the potential to seriously impact numerous facilities in the water conveyance system by growing in cooling water pipes and blocking water flow.
