Arabian Beverage Company Becomes One Of The First Companies In Kuwait To Earn Certification From NSF International's Bottled Water Certification Program

Arabian Beverage Company’s entire product line now NSF certified

Arabian Beverage Company Ltd.’s  entire product line – ABC, Juda, Peekaboo and Refresh brands of bottled water  – has been tested and certified to NSF International’s  Bottled Water Certification Program. NSF International is a global organization that writes public health product standards, audits facilities, and tests and certifies products for the food, water and consumer goods industries.

To earn NSF Certification, Arabian Beverage Company’s plant in Subhan, Kuwait underwent a rigorous audit to verify that the bottling facility met all certification requirements, including Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP), which are internationally-recognized food safety standards.  NSF also tested samples of Arabian Beverage Company bottled water products against the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) Bottled Water Code of Federal Regulations for more than 180 chemical, inorganic, radiological and microbiological contaminants.

To maintain certification, NSF International’s Bottled Water Certification program requires annual product testing and unannounced facility audits that cover every aspect of a bottler's operation, from the source of the water through the disinfection and treatment process, including the container closure process.
