Aqueous and Vapor-Phase Carbon Adsorption Software

PACS has developed an easy-to-use , low-cost combined windows Aqueous and Vapor-Phase Carbon Adsorption Program
PACS has developed an easy-to-use , low-cost combined windows Aqueous and Vapor-Phase Carbon Adsorption Program. User selects aqueous or vapor AC application. The program uses the Polanyi model and a given correlation curve to determine the activated carbon adsorption capacity. You need to know the molecular weight, density, refractive index, and solubility, or saturated vapor pressure of the compounds. The PACS program can calculate vapor and aqueous capacities for a single component or up to eight multiple miscible liquid components. Program helps provide AC feasibility. If you know the chemical bonds in a molecule, this program can estimate the refractive index of the molecule. You can also add new equations (these equations options are given) to this program which mathematically expresses the adsorption phenomenon.

This program is recommended as a companion for "VOC Vapor-Phase Carbon Adsorption Software with Relative Humidity". This program is most useful for cases involving competitive adsorption or cases when the adsorbate of interest has little empirical adsorption data available.
