Aquarius Technologies Multi-Stage Activated Biological Process Treats Sewage In Tsunami Ravaged Community In Japan

Aquarius’ process and technology licensee Teijin Limited, has donated a highly compact, efficient and energy-saving municipal sewage treatment system to the city of Kesennuma, Japan as a temporary replacement for the treatment plant devastated by the March 11 earthquake and tsunami.

The system is based on the Aquarius Technologies Multi-Stage Activated Biological Process (MSABP) technology. This is the first time that the MSABP wastewater treatment technology has been adopted for sewage treatment in Japan.
