Aquaporin Membranes To Power Projects In Chile And Mexico

Aquaporin continues to strengthen its presence in South and Latin America with new orders received for two projects in Chile and Mexico. In Chile, a well-designed wastewater recycling process with a feed capacity of around 2,600 cubic meters per day, equipped with Clear Plus series biomimetic RO membranes, will be delivered to a leading global manufacturer from the Food & Beverage industry. In Mexico, the Clear Plus FR series will purify well water with a capacity of 2,700 cubic meters per day.

The Chilean project was developed in collaboration with VOENS, a family-owned system integrator based in Santiago. Active across South America and the Latin America region, VOENS delivers tailored water and wastewater solutions for both public institutions and private-sector clients, including global brands. Their electromechanical systems - including Reverse Osmosis units - are manufactured in-house at their newly inaugurated workshop in Chile.

A strong collaboration
The installations mark a significant milestone in the global adoption of biomimetic water treatment, utilizing Aquaporin’s CLEAR membranes.
