Aqua Metrology Systems And BIOBOX Water S.L. Partner To Deliver A Transformative Nitrate Removal Solution

Aqua Metrology Systems (AMS) and BIOBOX Water S.L. (BIOBOX) today announce their partnership which brings to North America BIOBOX’s containerized biological treatment system for nitrate removal from groundwater and wastewater. The partnership will offer a fully automated, turnkey “intelligent nitrate treatment system” by integrating AMS’ online Instran nitrate analyzer that provides continuous, real-time control of the system performance.

By contrast to the costly, traditional RO treatment systems that are energy-intensive and produce a toxic waste stream, BIOBOX is energy efficient, produces no toxic waste and has a far lower lifetime cost, making it attractive to cost and environmentally conscious municipal clients. The BIOBOX system can be deployed rapidly at the thousands of sites in North America where nitrates put at risk human health and the environment.
